Like most people, I first fell in love with the incredible Steamboat lifestyle during the winter. Being an avid skier my entire life, I frequently visited this beautiful place on vacations to experience the world-famous champagne powder and embrace its warm and welcoming hometown atmosphere. Little did I know that a trip to Steamboat at the age of 17 would change my life forever. It was during that trip that I met Lonnie, the man who would eventually become my loving husband and the father of our two sons, Nick and Keith. Our family has grown over the years, and we now have two wonderful daughter-in-laws and four beautiful grandchildren who bring us immense joy and purpose. Both Lonnie and I are Colorado natives, originally from the Denver area. We raised our children in the suburbs of Denver, but the memories of Steamboat were never far from our hearts. The outdoor activities like skiing, snowmobiling, golf, and waterskiing captured our hearts, and we loved the active lifestyle that the area offered. In the past, I was a co-owner of my family's successful air conditioning, heating, and plumbing service company, while Lonnie ran his own contracting business. After selling our businesses, we decided to build our dream home in the Flat Tops, about an hour away from Steamboat. It was a beautiful place, and we cherished the time we spent there. However, the call of Steamboat became stronger with each passing day, and we realized that our true dream was to be closer to the town we love. We made the bold decision to move closer to Steamboat, and I decided to pursue a career in real estate, drawing from my strong background in finance and construction. It was a decision I'll never regret. I can genuinely say that I love what I do. Working as a real estate professional is incredibly rewarding, as it allows me to make a positive difference in people's lives.
